Many of you will be aware that the method of calculating pay for Local Government Staff changed in 2005.  It is no longer based on a simple "population" calculation, but is calculated based on the information in the "Clerk's Hours" page of this site.  Once you have calculated the rate for your staff (if you are unsure how to do this go up one page and check the "Clerk's Hours" page), click here for a Word document giving the 2007/8 rates of pay (Spinal Column Points 15 upwards), along with Car Allowances for 2005/6.
