Our Mission

The Cheshire Association of Local Councils (ChALC) exists to promote, develop and support the Local Councils of Cheshire

The Organisation

ChALC is a member based organisation providing information and legal advice to those members.

ChALC represents the interests of Town and Parish Councils on a variety of outside bodies, such as County and District LSPs, District Standards Committees, Health Scrutiny Committees and the National Association of Local Councils.

ChALC is managed by an Executive Committee whose members are democratically elected from within its membership.  Officer support is provided by two full time members of staff and a part time administrative assistant.  Click here for further information about the organisation.
